Privacy Policy for Thai Calendar

1. Introduction This Privacy Policy describes how Thai Calendar (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) handles information when you use the Thai Calendar mobile application on Android. By using Thai Calendar, you agree to this Privacy Policy. 2. Data we collect and how we use it 2.1 Data stored on your device (local only) The app stores the following only on your device; we do not receive or store this data on our servers: App preferences: Language (Thai/English), theme (light/dark/system), year format (Buddhist Era / Christian Era), and similar settings. Your notes: Any notes you add to calendar dates, including repeat-yearly and reminder settings. Notification settings: How many days before a holiday to notify you and the notification time you choose. This data is stored locally using your device’s storage and is not transmitted to us. 2.2 Data we do not collect We do not collect your name, email, phone number, account credentials, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account or log in. 3. Third-party services 3.1 Google AdMob (advertising) Thai Calendar uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect and use data (e.g. device identifiers, advertising ID, general location) according to Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy You can control ad personalisation in your device settings (e.g. “Opt out of Ads Personalisation” on Android). 3.2 Google Play and device features When you use “Rate App” or “Share”, your device may open Google Play or the share sheet. Those actions are subject to Google’s and your device’s privacy practices, not controlled by this app. 4. Permissions The app may request: Notifications: To send you holiday and note reminders you have set. Internet (if used for ads): So AdMob can deliver ads. Other permissions: Only what is necessary for the app to function (e.g. as required by the OS or AdMob SDK). We do not use permissions to collect personal data for our own use beyond what is described above. 5. Data retention On your device: Your preferences and notes remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app. AdMob: Data retention is governed by Google’s policies (see link above). 6. Children’s privacy Thai Calendar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it. 7. Changes to this Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
