Emergency calls USA
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026
In short
Emergency Calls USA does not collect or store any personal information. The only sensitive permission it requests is optional device location, used solely to power the "Where Am I?" screen — your coordinates are sent only to your device's own geocoding service to resolve a readable address and are never collected, stored, or sent to us. The app contains no ads, analytics, or third-party tracking, and does not require an account.
1. Information we do not collect
Emergency Calls USA does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. Specifically, the app:
Contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
Does not require account creation, sign-in, or any personal identifiers
Does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or call history
Does not collect device identifiers or usage statistics
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of data locally on your device only, using Android's standard local app storage. This data never leaves your device and is never visible to us:
Numbers you choose to mark as favorites within the app
Your selected display theme (light, dark, or system default)
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this locally stored data.
3. Calling functionality
When you tap "Call" on a number in the app, Emergency Calls USA opens your device's built-in phone dialer with that number pre-filled, using Android's standard dialer feature. The app itself never places calls silently or automatically, and it does not access, read, or store your call logs.
4. Location ("Where am I?")
The app includes an optional "Where am I?" screen that shows your current city, suburb, state and postcode, and lets you open your exact position in a map app — for example, to share your location with a 911 dispatcher. Location is only requested when you open that screen and is never accessed in the background. To turn coordinates into a readable address, they are sent to your device's configured geocoding service (typically Google, via Android's system geocoder) — this is the only time any data leaves your device, and it is used solely to return an address to you. Emergency Calls USA itself never stores, logs, or transmits your location anywhere. You can deny or revoke the location permission at any time in your device settings without affecting any other part of the app.
5. Third-party services
Emergency Calls USA does not integrate any third-party services, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media SDKs.
6. Children's privacy
Emergency Calls USA does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no personal data of any kind, it can be used safely by people of any age.
7. Data security
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by the app, there is no remote data for us to protect. Information you choose to save (favorites and theme preference) stays only in your device's local storage, governed by your device's own security and lock settings.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's functionality changes. Any update will be reflected by a new "Effective date" above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the app, contact us at: geekavenueyt@gmail.com
